INVITATION
If you are a dreamer, come in,
If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar,
A hope-er, a pray-er, a magic bean buyer...
If you're a pretender, come sit by my fire
For we have some flax-golden tales to spin.
Come in!
Come in!

"Remember the Alamo!"
Texas gained its independence in 1836 and I have the Nickelodeon show "The Fairly Odd Parents" to thank for helping me remember this. Every time my teacher (or anyone for that matter) says, "Remember the Alamo!", I can't help but think of Timmy Turner showing up A.J. with his intelligence. Watch the classroom scene beginning at 3:25. You'll definitely remember the Alamo and think about Texan independence in a different way. And if you watch the entire episode, what kind of name is snerd for an elementary school?!
